DANOPLUS

Danofloxacin is a chemotherapeutic agent of a broad-spectrum belonging to the
group of fluoroquinolones 3rd generation. Preparation is active against Gram-positive
and Gram-negative microorganisms such as Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus
pyogenes, Escherichia col, Enterobacteriaceae spp., Pasteurella spp., Haemophilus
spp., Acti spp., Brucella spp., Bordetella bronchisepti, Proteus vulgaris, Pseudomonas
aeruginosa, Salmonella spp. etc., and mycoplasmas.Danofloxacin is quickly absorbed
in the gastrointestinal tract due to its high bioavailability. Colistin is an antibiotic from
the group of polymyxins which are synthesized by aerobic spore-forming coli Bacillus
polymyxa. Colistin as part of the formulation has a bactericidal action against Gramnegative
bacteria like E. coli, Salmonella spp., Pasteurella spp., Haemophilus spp.,
Bordetella spp. Colistin binds to phospholipids of cytoplasmic membrane, increases its
permeability for both intra- and external cellular components which leads to destruction
of the bacterial cell. Tylosin is a member of the macrolide group of antibiotics. Tylosin
as part of the formulation has bacteriostatic action against Gram-positive bacteria
like Actinomyces spp., Bacillus an- thracis, Clostridium spp., Corynebacterium spp.,
Erysipelothrix rhusiopathiae, Streptococcus spp., Staphylococcus spp., Diplococcus
spp., Gram-negative bacteria such as Pasteurella multocida, Salmonella spp., Acti spp.,
Fusobacterium spp., Bordetella bronchiseptica, Haemophilus spp., Bacteroides nodosus,
Moraxella spp., Proteus mirabilis, as well as Chlamydia and Mycoplasmas.
